This is my first babd so I dont know if headaches are common in the last trimester or if its something else ot just a normal headache. Its not caused by high blood pressure went to the doctor last thursday and he said my blood pressure was better than anyone hes seen so Im okay there. Thanks for any help!

All women are different with there pregnancys. With my first I had horrible headaches, with my second I had horrible back pain. It is OK to take acetemetophine ( Tylonal) to help with pain. Which I took my self. If its a tension headache like from your shoulders around to the top of your forehead 20 min. of ice. 20 min. of heat and get your guy to massage you it really helps!! Make sure your head is elevated enough by your pillow at night too that makes a difference. And make sure you RELAX. If your doing to much during the day your body is just letting you know its time to chill!! I'm not a doctor but I deal with A LOT of headaches!!! Good luck and hopefully it goes away!

I really don't know what to tell you. I had migraines during my first trimester and was given meds to control the pain. However, it went away sometime during my 2nd trimester. Have you told your OB about the headaches? Maybe you are getting these headaches as a reaction to certain food that you are eating. It's only a guess as I only get migraines when I'm stressed or I eat certain cheese. So maybe you can keep a journal on what you did/ate before you get a headache.

Congrats on the baby.

they are normal in the first trimester and the last. It is caused by the hermonal changes your body goes through during the beginning and close to the end of the pregnancy. My doctor said there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. Just try to sleep allot and drink plenty of fluid.

Your BP was good but what about the protein in your urine? Are you experiencing any vision changes at all like seeing spots or dizziness?? Try lying down in a dark room with no sounds and take some Tylenol, see if that helps. Otherwise do consult your dr. because this late in the game you could be pre-eclamptic.

Changes in hormonal levels can cause headaches. Don't panic and keep your doctor apprised of the situation. And don't forget to sign the paperwork for an epidural before you go into labor. Even if you think you won't need it, don't eliminate it as an option because the paperwork wasn't done in advance. Good luck!

Your headache might be hormone related since you're pregnant and your hormones are constantly changing. Just keep tabs on things and if anything new comes up call your doctor.

It still may be preeclampsia. Watch out for sudden swelling and changes in vision. Good Luck w/ your pregnancy and your baby.
