You will not break any bones during the birthing process. It is possible for you to tear from pushing the baby out through a small space. You will not even realize it if it's a small tear they will stitch it up right after you give birth. Some woman have had a tear from their vagina to the rectum which i heard can be painful and may need alot of stitches. These days while you are laboring if you have a midwife they will put pressure on the out side of your vagina with lubricant and start to stretch to make it easier for you.If the doctor sees you may tear they may make a small incision to allow a little more give to the vagina(episiotomy) without severe tears

Your bones won't break (although it might feel like they will). The doctor might give you an episotimy, which basically means they cut your vagina opening to make more room for the baby. Sometimes if this is not done your vagina will rip. Either way they will stitch you up after wards and you will be as good as new in a month.

Yes its possible, Living proof right here, I dont mean to get to graphic But i tore from ... well you know where to you know where... i was in surgery for 4-5 hours immedietly after my son was out, I lost a ton of blood, and the next day was told i had over 100+ internal and external stitches... So yes its possible... I pray that it wont happen to even my worst enemy the pain was worse than the birth itself.

You can rip or tear, and I've heard of people breaking their pelvic bone. That is why they do ultrasound before you deliver- to ensure the baby is not too big for you to deliver.l

Tearing is more likely, and the tear that goes through the posterior vaginal wall and the rectum is called a fourth degree tear. In theory bones could break, but it would more likely be the baby's as they are not nearly as sturdy as the adult pelvis.

Yes, with my first I had to have an episiotimy, with my second I just tore. Both my babies were delivered natural, no pain meds or complications. Don't worry though, they numb you up before they put the stitches in. Never heard of bones breaking.

oh yea, I ripped pretty bad when I had my son because he came out so fast there wasn't much time for anything to uhm, stretch out. I also had a very bad sprain to my tail bone and very nearly broke it because he was posterior (sunny side-up), you probably won't break your pelvis but you can defenitely break your tail bone if the baby is posterior, probably not very common though

yes u can rip and also break bones not naturally though. my friends baby was too big and they had to either break the baby shoulder or break my friends pelvic bone, naturally she chose to break her pelvic bone...she had to learn how to walk and couldn't hold her baby or breast feed or anything....just some of the thing women have to do for the love of our children!
