The Empire Strikes back is my favorite. I love the wisdom and training from Yoda. "Do not try ... Do" "Always in constant change - the future is". The climax and ending was on a negative note, which is how life is sometimes.

Episode 5. Any true, hardcore Star Wars fan will agree with this.
Why? Because it didn't end on a chipper, happy note. Because of the romance between Han and Leia. Because of the introduction of Yoda.
Most importantly, it didn't involve cute, fuzzy Ewoks that were obviously included to appeal to kids (and the eventual merchandising). Not too many people know that the Endor battle was originally supposed to take place on Chewbacca's home planet of Kyshyyk, but 3 foot tall Ewoks are way cuter than giant, 12 foot tall Wookies.
Episodes 1-3 overall sucked. Hayden and Natalie can't act, and Lucas has proved that he can't write romantic dialogue. The only good parts about the prequel trilogy were the Yoda/Count Dooku fight scene in Episode 2, and the Anakin/Obi-Wan fight scene in Episode 3.
My favorite character is R2-D2 :)

May fav Star Wars movie is Return of the Jedi, it was the BEST of the first three films and was perfect in every aspect. My fav character is and alwasy will be Han Solo, he's Mr. Billy-bad-***, and always has something sarcastic to say.

Personally, I love the very first movie because you meet all of the characters and it's a very full plot.
But I love Qui-Gon Jinn from episode I. Qui-Gon is literally a father figure, and he's a fantastic character. I read the additional SW books from before the movies just because he's in them. XD

The original one. It opened up a whole new chapter of imagination. My favorite character was Han Solo - he always kicked but and got the chicks! Kind of like the real Captain of the Enterprise - James T. Kirk...kiss'in them green women!

I think, that just because my favorite character is in this, then that must be my favorite Star Wars movie~# 1 with Jar Jar Binks!! I think that he is awesome!!!

Definately Ep 2, due to the lightsaber battle between Tyrannus and Yoda, who is my fav character of all time. i have an awesome yoda tat on my upper arm!!! May the force be with you all

Right now, my favorites are Eps. III & V. And, my favorite character is none other than Chewbacca! I mean, who wouldn't want a Wookiee best-friend, honestly!?
