I'm the "uncool" kid in my school and I'm runing for V.P. but what do I do?

I go to a school were most of the kid come from familys with money but I'm the ghetto punk rocker from a not so rich family and all the kids runing use there money to buy there votes and I can't do that its not what I believe in,but really the only thing I can think of giving out are blank cd's for kid to make the own "soundtracks".I know I'm not going to win cause I'm "uncool" and all the kids I'm runing with are "cool" but I want to show ppl that you don't have to be cool to do something with your life but I don't know how to show them.How do I show them that?oh and I'm runing for vice presidant.

you should go up to pple lyke during lunch and introduce yourself and shake their hands and ask them how things are going and then tell them that you are running for VP also complimenting pple on things is a plus too and its free too

or like in klass or during klass u shud just get up in front of the room and tell pple ur running for VP and ask them if they have any tips or things u need to work on

No the best ideas. Accent what you have that opponent doesn't, which maybe coolness. Pull a Fonsie from Happy Days.
Now political answer identity blocks of voters in your class such as jocks and see if you can strike deal with them; such as vote for me this year and I'll try and get your guy elected next year. Do same thing with other groups for other elected positions. I've seen it done where person few thought had a pray won it all. Just running show huge amount of guts, and I call that cool.

PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE

kids will vote for someone that shows a dedication to what they are doing. it takes a lot of courage to go out there and introduce yourself to people. maybe you'll start to see that not everyone at your school is superficial and that some people want a great person up there. i know for my school a lot of the times the kids who did something creative or different with their elections won. for instance, one girl did her speech as a song, one guy did his speech as a poem and another girl changed around the words to "oh the places youll go" and used that as her speech

the best advice i can give you is to do something the kids will remember. they wont remember the loner who just walks up on the stage, reads, and gets off... theyll remember the kid who puts his heart into it and makes the election a fun and unique experience

If you have to give people a free something to get their vote it says what you believe in is not worth voting for. run your campaign on what you plan to do. Smart kids vote for what will work the best for them. Good luck. Oh - you really need to get past the rich/poor thing it sounds like a lame excuse for everything that bothers you.

Be yourself, use your personality (without sounding fake), and show them you know what you are doing. If you do not get elected you will know you were true to yourself and did your best. A lot of us were the uncool kid. My best friend in my Jock High School was my English teacher.

talk to your principal (this is what were do at our school) about making campeigns but with anonomous names! that way, they dont know who they're voting for, they just know what the persons capable of. And the people running aren't allowed to say which canidate they are. (Like canidate A, B, C, D, etc) That way it's not a popularity race. we do it for class president, presidents for clubs.....all that stuff.
