This question goes to all the people that actually own this.
So is this really worth spending $300? What would u say are the pros and cons for this mp3 player? I want to buy it but I am not sure if I should. Advice!?!?!?

Can I transfer videos and music to this even if i dont buy it from itunes?

well i had one some one stoled mine an well at first i thought about it so much i mean its alot of money and am a chep person but i ended up buying it an trust me it was so wort it that when i lost my 1st one i went to buy another one that same week i mean ur going to love it i cant get enough of mine i even lisen to it when am asleep

The iPod video is actully $249 now, even tax can't make it $300. How big is $249 to you? The new Ipod Video is worth for wat it costs, it doesn't have any major problems. Except that:
- iTunes is crappy
- Only videos you paid for work. You can add home video to you iPod, you you have to pay for a software.
- Scratchable, not durable.
- Big and bulky.
If you need videos, but not a lot of storage in your mp3 player, get the Iriver Clix, or Zen V plus. The Iriver Clix can play videos very good, has a rather large and sharp screen, pretty cheap, but it only has 2Gb (about 1 hr of movie, I think). The Zen V plus wasn't designed for video, but it's ok in playing them. Both are very cheap and much more durable and small.
But if wat you need is BIG storage, for lots of music, pictures and videos, the iPod Video is your only choice. Dont go for ZenVison:M, which is twice as heavy and its hard drive isn't so durable.

there not $300 anymore, there $250. I wish I had one.....Buy it, go for it.
