Rock music. I know Hip Hop is the norm now-a-days, but I like Rock music. Hard Rock better. Heavy Metal, is getting a little too much for me. Hip Hop, is so fake. Anyone can sample a beat. Writing music and making music, is a true artist.

r&b and soul!!!! I'm a laid back person so I like to relax when I listen to music! I wanna feel the songs the artist sing . When Im not in that mood I'll listen to most any thing except country. Right now I really like vivian green's emotional roller coaster, George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, outkast's idlewild album , marroon five This love and T.I.'s King album oh and the frays! that song from greys anatomy is pretty HOTT! But I don't really have a main fav group or artist I like alot so its kind of difficult to pick just one. Really difficult. hehe! :)

I like different music for different moods. Classical, soft soothing music (ex. Enya) and some jazz (ex. Pat Mathany) when I want to relax and forget about my day. Country most of the time for singing to and Classic Rock for when I am having a really good time.

I hate most rap, I tolerate it while in public and in my friends car and have none on my ITunes

hip hop is tolerable and has some catchy beats, I like Aalyah and find it very unfotunate that she died. I like Rhyannah, sorry for butchering her name, and many other artists who tend to lean to the hip hop circles.

rock is tolerable too, I don't usually pay attention to the artists because I can't usually understand them. I usually lump rock with punk, emo, and acid rock.

classic rock is good such as queen which is also I guess alternative, but like Guns N Roses, and stuff like that is good classic stuff

I am unfamilar with latin, I love Santana, I guess he has his moments right? Erique Iglacious Sorry for butchering his name too also has his few token songs which I like and I like Mark Anthony also though he has a feminine voice

I love the soundtracks to movies especially those instrumental... artists such as John Williams, James Horner, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri, Randy Edelman, Bill Conti, Jerry Goldsmith, Mark Snow, and many many others... they all have unique ways of portraying themes of passion, patriotism, and altruism

I love Jazz, from the early Ragtime of the late nineteenth century such as Scott Joplin to just about any variation of Jazz there is today minus Acid Jazz, that stuff is pretty terrible.

I love R&B, like Boyz II Men and Dru Hill and anything else that has loving lyrics and good slow tempo and bass.

I love Smooth Jazz, though I didn't mention that under jazz I kind of find it to be its own catagory... artists like rick braun, chris botti, sade, larry carlton, boney james, grover washington jr. and many many others

Perhaps my all time favorite genre is Country... I love old time country which I lump folk under too but most of country I love. i love the good poetry which goes into the songs and how beatiful it can be...

I am sure I am missing some things but such is life and the story of mine!
