Actually you should only take medications with water (or if a doctor advises, milk or other liquids) Beer would probably alter the medication's chemistry. But it really depends on what you're taking.

No medications of any kind, over the counter or prescriptions should be taken with any alcohol whatsoever. If anything, cut down on your consumption of alcohol while you are on a medication.

All Medicine, in fact, alcohol & medicine shouldn't be mixed, Aviod Durain as well.

every single medicine out there says on the bottle that it "should not be taken with alcohol".
