1. Because they put a stigma on unwed mothers...... Who would support all of these unwanted children? Abortion is practical and the financial advantage (financial - the conservative basis). Conservatives don't want sex education in the schools nor do they want easy access to condoms for our teenagers. In the Catholic country of Brazil, abortion is illegal yet there are more abortions performed there every year than in USA.

The conservatives are pro life,not pro abortion. Im for life and dont put a stigma on unwed mothers,teen mothers,poor mothers,raped mothers,mothers f incest,anything. All children created should be given life. Its so simple. The #1 cause of abortion is lack of responsibility to either use protecion,birth control or morning after pill. I know the statistics and only 1&% is due to rape or incest. 98% are due to not using protection.

cause they realize that making a self perpetuating lower class will cause strife and trouble as that lower class commits crimes and does drugs and will give them a reason to point at the demoncrats as failures with their social programs, and funnel money to prisons and cops and other conservative programs.
