i would honestly use a tampon. that way your piercing wont rub on anything. the last thing you wanna have happen is it end up getting infected.

This might be worth asking your doctor about.

I'm guessing you're probably just trying to give your piercing time to heal before abrading it with anything? Or maybe you just like pads ... I shouldn't make assumptions.

My guess is that if you keep the area reasonably clean and change the pads out often enough that the fresh piercing isn't kept moist, you should be okay. But I'm not a doctor.

big thing is to just follow the guidlines of your piercer. The rubbing might create a problem, but then your panties will also cause some rubbing anyways so I don't see how you can avoid it.

general recommendations for cleaning a piercing: just keep it cleaned with antibacterial soap that does not contain fragrance or moisturizers. Dial antibacterial is often a good choice. Watch for redness and warm feeling skin that is painful to the touch along with excessive oozing as that would be your first signs of infection.

I would suggest using a tampon just in case to avoid infection. If you have further questions you might want to ask the piercer or a doctor.

I would stick with tampons to reduce rubbing. But once it's healed and you prefer pads, go right ahead, just make sure to keep it clean.

I would avoid it. And in my personal opinion, pads are gross and not very hygenic anyway.
