This is still a controversity. Their music is considered gothic because of their apparage. Mostly black, signs of the devil. It is not full confirmed but is considered gothic in the united states but in UK its considered as rock and punk rock

No. And goths hate the comparison. It's European pop-rock. There are tons of bands like H.I.M. that are popular in Europe right now.

I hope not. They are the worst band ever and i see no reason for them to be considered gothic. Gothic music is more like industrial music such as that of Marilyn Manson.

I really love that song "Would you Die For Love"... and I love "Poison Girl" too!
I don't know if they would be considered Gothic music or not... I just love their music (like poetry) and would listen to it no matter how it is labled.
:)
It is so nice to meet another fan. I first listened to them when I lived in Europe. I don't think they got the attention they deserved here in America.

No, It's more of an emo / rock style... Old HIM is rock the new album is emo....AND I LOVE THEIR MUSIC..!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ALBUM TO COME OUT IN 2007... I JUST HOPE IT'S LIKE THEIR OLD STUFF...
