EWWW!!! My ipod's screen is gross!?

I'm afraid that it's going to be hard to read in a couple months because it already looks terrible! It's not that I'm being careless, I've just used it a lot. Is there anyway to clean it? I looks like my screen has been smeared in a couple places or something. Can I send it back in? Will my warrenty cover a bad screen or not? Please help!

Clean it with an eyeglass-cleaning cloth. It will get the smudges and stuff off.

If you have scratches, there's no way to get rid of those and no, your warranty does not cover that.

You might want to get an iPod case to carry your iPod in to protect it from any further damage.

I use a little bit of eyeglass cleaner on a cotton cloth to clean mine.

I've also found that buying the screen protectors that they sell for PDA's and cutting it to fit the screen helps. When it gets too dirty, just peel it off and put a new one on.

Dont clean it with anything other than the screen cleaner and cloth sold at the Apple store.

Next time .. purchase a screen cover. It's a cheap investment that will keep it in good shape. I doubt the screen is covered through normal use. Sorry :( Good Luck ! :)

Try rubbing it with a MILD abrasive -- start out with toothpaste.

Use your finger and rub gently, then wipe it off with a damp washcloth.

If that doesnt work go to a car detailing shop with a bag of cheeseburgers as a bribe and ask one of the guys to help you buff it out, and that should do the trick. They have all sorts of neat chemicals and buffers
