i have read this story before but i find this quite strange. why do some people think too much excrise can reduce fertility in women?

vigorous exercise stimulates your body to build muscle tissue.....(among other things). This demand is met by an increase in blood levels of testosterone (yes, women have small amounts of testo in their blood naturally) above what is normal. This imbalances the the estrogen, FSH, and progesterone levels that regulate menses and fertility.

This is simplified, but accurate enough to get the concept across.

Really? I heard the opposite. But if you're referring to over- and excessive exercising, I can see some truth in that.

young women athletes rarely get a period so their systems must be messed up...I don't know why but it's true. I wouldn't count on it for birth control though.

It is not just "too much", it is more like excessive exercise from what I understand.

Well, don't excercise as much and you can have a baby.
