It doesn't, but you could get that implication from the idea that people are supposed to voluntarily accept Jesus

How can you force someone to become a christian? Put a bible in front of them until they read and accept it? Torture them until they convert? Lock them up? Brain wash them? Kill them if they refuse?
If you did any of the above, would they really be a christian? Or would they just be saying they were to stop the abuse? Why would any so-called christian be interested in forcing anybody else into becoming a christian? Just stick with praying for their soul.
By the way, what the heck does this have to do with science????

Whether or not it's in there is beside the point: NO ONE should ever try to force another to "learn" their religion. It should always be the *individual's* choice to accept or reject it.
If there is such a passage in the Bible, then that is good enough reason to reject such a religion/belief system.

It says in Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
In other words, each man has to work out his own salvation. God new that when you try to force people to do things it always turns ugly.
I'm not for sure where but it also tells that God gave us the same thing as the Angels. Freewill to choose as we will.
