Yuck! This is really tender ground! First, are you absolutely 100% sure? If you are basing this on speculation, then wait until you have proof before you do anything! How close are you to the bf and the mom? Tell them that if they don't come clean you have to. Ask the bf and mom point blank and you will know if they are truthful.
Secondly, make sure that your friend has a strong support system (other than mom and bf, of course!) maybe sister, aunt, cousin other friends, etc. It would be helpful to have a man that can reassure her that she is still wonderful, beautiful, valuable, etc., but not someone who is selfishly going for his own motives.
It would be great if you could consult a professional, but I know that may not be realistic. I would say you have to tell her, because if bf is so slimy to be going after mom, who knows who else he is sleeping with? With all the std's around, it is your friends right to know that bf is not being exclusive. Having been cheated on repeatedly in my former marriage, I can tell you she probably suspects and may be relieved to know that she isn't crazy. And she needs to end this relationship. I can't even imagine the situation with the low class mom, wow!!! This is why you need to bring a support system to your friend before you tell her. And tell her that no matter what, you will be there for her. (She may not be ready to end the relationship and needs to know you will still support her, hard as that may be).
I guess the simple answer, is yes, I couldn't sleep at night or look in the mirror if I KNEW this was happening and didn't tell my friend as hard as that would be. Remember, she may refuse to believe you at first and be angry with you. Stand by her side, and remind her that everything will work out.
I don't mean to be outrageous, but if your friend has a gun or weapons, try to get them out of her reach, or contact police if you feel that this has any chance of ending in violence. People can react very erratically with these situations.
I wish you and your friend all of the best. God be with you and her as you help her sort through this mess. You are a good friend to be so concerned for her.

u should tell but u have to back it up somehow so make sure u have proof and be nice about it and let ur friend no that ur there for her becasue no matter what u guys gotta get through the hard times together but if u dont tell her than shes gonna really think differently of u and you'll lose her trust because you knew this thing is hurting her yet u didn't tell her and u'll probably reget it for the rest of your life

i probably would find a good time to say it, not just out of the blue, because obviously hes nto being truthful, and would you like it if your bf was sleepin with your mom? honestly i would rather someone tell me, and her bf shouldnt deserve her doing that kind of stuff, which also would possibly get her and her mom mad at eachother which isnt good, but still, i would rather know it before he gets an std, because if you only know of her mom, then he could possibly do it to someone else too

And, yes, I would tell your friend if I were you, but make sure you can back it up. If that doesn't work, there's always Jerry Springer.

In a heartbeat how would you feel to be used by someone who compared you with your Mom in that sense. He's probably telling his friends too so if she's a real friend as you say tell her

You need to tell her somehow. Usually the person who gives this info is turned into a bad guy. You don't want that person to forever associate you with this bad experience with her mom. Send her an anonymous email or regular mail letter and tell her that way. It is very easy to do this anonymously if you try.
