I so believe that there is such a thing as pheromones people release. The reason being is I just can't stand someone at work and he did absolutely nothing to me. But its to the point of where I am repulsed by him. Matter of fact I hardly know him and mostly ignore him. I believe it must be pheromones cause why the intense replusion?

Pheromones may indeed play a part, but here may be other things below your conscious level of realization. If you want to know more about this phenomenon, read the book "Blink". I don't remember the author, as I have passed it on to a friend.

Interestingly, I have a dog, who is friendly to almost everyone. One day at the beach in California, she took umbrage at a man with his children. He had done nothing to her or toward her or me, or for that matter, was not even near us, but she just was instantly and fully angry with him. Fortunately, I kept her on leash, but have always wondered about him. Another time, a woman from work that I cannot stand, a real toady, came by my house one day to borrow a paint sprayer, and the dog did the SAME thing to her. Those are the only two times she has done that. Gotta think she knows something I don't know.

Interesting! In german we say "ich kann sie nicht riechen" (it means I hate her smell) when we don't like someone.

Yes, I do believe in pheromones. When I was soooo in love with my husband, I loved the way his skin smelled. 15 years later when life had taken it's course, I couldn't stand the way he smelled...even after a shower. I believe it's our own body chemistry that reacts to that of another person. When our body chemistry changes due to some reason, a person we were attracted to suddenly "smells bad".
