I voted for him because I believed he was the lesser of two evils. I think I may have been wrong, but there is, of course, no way to know. I'm simply curious as to the rationale behind the belief that he is still making the right decisions. I have seen very few intelligent ones (granted he does have the occasional one).

I'm not looking to start a fight, although I know that will happen with this question. Intelligent answers are appreciated.

I also agree that Bush seemed the lesser of two evils but I don't see how anyone could have made more of a mess of things. Iran is becoming a bigger threat to world security then Iraq ever was and being so stretched out puts us in a bad position to do anything about it. A budget surplus has turned into a budget deficit. I normally don't care what the rest of the world thinks of us but Bush is making us all look like idiots for electing him President. After 8 years of having a democrat for President I figured we needed a republican to keep things level but this guy is out of control. He's making Clinton look like FDR. As they say, we made our bed........

The lesser of two evils is really what it came down all together. Kerry is a little right for my liking (Yes. Right.) The only thing is that which do you perceive to be the lesser evil? In my case, I believe Kerry was the lesser evil. I gave Bush a chance in the Bush/Gore elections (I preferred Gore, but at the time I didn't mind Bush). But seeing as how the country was run, I chose Kerry as the lesser evil. If you asked me, I would have chosen Dean as president.

It's not like Bush has done nothing good. Had John McCain won the republican primaries, we would probably be at war with China over the China Spy plane incident.

As far as our economic situation: I believe Bush has misinterpreted the Laffer Curve, and is therefore driving our economy into the ground. Sucks.

Everyone knew that they were buying a pig when they chose to vote for Bush. They should have also known that a lot of the stuff that was put out there about Kerry was political smear orchestrated by Bush/Rove. (Just look at what they did to McCain for another example of how they operate.)

Of course there is a way to know if you were wrong. Just look around. Are you better off now than you were before the MonkeyBoy was elected?

Around here, all of the decent paying jobs have been replaced with non-union jobs that pay a third of the old pay scales and have little or no benefits. We have been swamped with illegal Mexicans that have brought a crime wave with them. Medicaide has been gutted by the moron Repubs. in state office. Working people have 2 jobs just to make ends meet.

The list goes on. If you have had enough, then vote the incumbents out this November.

I help him, hes carried out what he believed became proper, no longer effortless. He requested the Congress for permission to apply stress to oust Saddam, it became also in help of a call exceeded contained in the 90s making that a nationwide coverage of the US. Up till 2003 foremost Democrats also pronounced that Saddam had guns of Mass Destrution and became attempting to construct or aquire better. In 2002 Bush tried to envision a nationwide comprensive power coverage that could want to have addressed our complications and inspired the shape of commerce power. Stopped by skill of shortsighted liberals that were disenchanted that he had went to experts contained in the container for suggestion. the biggest mission with Katrina became that the interior of sight and State authorities (both Democrat run) had no plans for evac the inhabitants and did not enable federal help in for some days. What he did contained in the so called "wiretapping" we captured quite a few hundred telephone numbers in Afganistan. those numbers were listened in on. the theory being that it became only conceivable that human beings contained in the US were individuals of Al Quada, thinking the activities of 9-11 a secure precaution (you do keep in mind that date do not you?) far as torture is worried, have you ever heard of Dan Pearl? What we do to collect techniques from human beings that do such issues isn't some thing. And from what I easily have study of it what we've carried out is effortless compared to what takes position to captured individuals. So I help the president and thank God that someone you help isn't president.

I don't mean to not answer your question, but i see no reason not to like him(I am serious). I mean, i used to be on the edge of not supporting him, but i did some research and found out that, nothing is really his fault, but rather he tries to correct the things that went wrong. He has made some mistakes but you could not know that until after a while the decision was made.

To be honest, i believe one of the biggest mistakes that has been made, was not going into Iraq before 9-11, the entire situation would have been different

Honestly, I feel like with the information he's being afforded he's making the best decisions possible. I think that right now he needs some supporters just like his supporters need him. But I swear to god if he farts on me its going to piss me off in a way that he's never seen.

well, some people are just ignorant, they still believe the lies and misinformation his propaganda machine put out. Others are just shortsighted and greedy, and since most of those people were one issue voters, (some of) they are happy that he did what they wanted; ban abortion, stemcell research, set back environmental standards, etc etc.
