The shot can mess things up,thats for sure, but really whats your best bet,is taking the bc pill 5 nights a week, then after a week or so, go gradually down to 4,then 3,until theres none, believe me,youll get pregnant if theres nothing wrong.I would schedule a gyn appointment to rule out any possible problems though. best of luck!

Whenever you go on or off birth control your cycles are messed up for a few months afterwards. If you are actually trying to conceive you should not be on the pills at all because of the hormones.
Don't worry about not getting pregnant right away. The time to see a fertility specialist is when you've been trying for more than a year with no luck.

If you're TRYING to get pregnant-just quit taking the pills. By stopping and starting, you're just confusing your hormones. If your body is healthy, everything will staighten out naturally. When I took the pill years ago, I got to the point that my periods quit altogether for about 3 years, after I quit taking them, it took about 7 months to start again then the next month I was pregnant and now have 2 healthy kids!
