there has been an increase in haters/clones lately....but the good people still out number them.

I agree. There are always idiots out there so don't get too upset. I'm sure some of these people are just kids trying to get attention or ignorant idiots who don't know any better. Anyways I am bisexual (not that it matters) so I can relate to this comment. Whenever anyone finds out I am bisexual (unless they are a friend) they treat me like I have some sort of disease some people avoid me all together and most people won't talk about anything to do with homsexuality or heterosexuality (like I'll get offended or start hitting on them). I know it is depressing but keep fighting the good fight and hopefully the world will come to understand!

Well first off, there are plenty of other good websites instead of Yahoo, its full of weird, messed up biggots that love to watch gay teens kill themselves so they can go to their funerals. You're at the wrong place. Try searching some place that has a more positive outlook on the gay community.

Hey, there are still more caring LGBT folks hanging here than what you may at first think. I for one tend to bail out when the homophobic idiots clog up the site, as do others, and check back later for more real people. Sucks, but that's the way of it until a couple of the new ******* get called home for mommy to tuck them in bed - or the doc to put them back on meds. Don't give up completely on the site, okay?

I totally hear you - thank you for saying so. Some of the comments in this section are truly ignorant and upsetting. There is a huge amount of positivity though and we just have to let the ridiculous statements roll off our backs. No matter what topic, wherever you go, there will always be conflicting opinions and people who just want to get a rise out of others - we just have to understand that those types of people have some major issues. Dont worry darlin', youre not alone!

I hear ya Brandy, but try to ignore the jacka**es that post here and focus on those that have genuine questions. I definitely think some people on here have WAY too much freetime on their hands. But Yahoo! doesn't do anything about it no matter what, so all we can do is tolerate them.

Chill out, and get out of here if you are upset. Don't stew about stuff you read or what idiots say on here. Most people are here only to kill time, only a few really are seeking true answers and you need to step back, take a breath and sign off and go do something else for a while. Go for a walk.

Hi.
I hear ya.
I've only found one truly safe space online as a queer woman, and it's a queer-women-only space that you have to pay to join, but it's been sooooo worth it. I'd tell you what it is on here, but I'm sure someone here would find a way to trash it, too.
In the meantime, please know that we're not all so negative.
( By the way....just a side note, but you may want to chaek your profile on here before you get attacked by sh**-disturbers for the inadvertant meaning alteration caused by a misplaced "u".)

Patience, grasshopper. There's an old Italian/Latin saying "Illegitimi non carborundum" ("don't let the bastards grind you down"). Continue to be positive about yourself & don't let the negative people upset you. You can't change their attitudes for the better by getting upset at them. Maybe you can't even change their attitudes at all, but if you want to try you should be positive & try to remain calm. Good luck.

I still come here to give support to those who need it.
Don't give in and feel the hatred -- it's pity you need to feel; pity for those who are ignorant and have nothing in their hearts but themselves.
It's asinine for people who don't support GLBTs to even be here. Comfort yourself that at least you have a life -- they obviously do not if they have nothing better to do than attempt to throw rocks like first grade playground bullies.
Peace and love to you!
