when i try to log off the internet i have to go into task manager and do it manually because it keeps saying not responding? why is this? can i fix it?

Hmmm, try reinstalling your modem from COntrol Panel or try ugrading internet explorer. The problem sounds gay! And how come you don't have broadband!

Run a virus scan . Check to see if you have installed all security updates for your computer .

You computer might be affected with an virus that had disable that or messed it up...call the company that your computer is from...
