winston churchill. he faced great odds in his own country, rose to power when under devastating bombing attacks from Germany. his own people and parliament wanted him removed from power. during it all he never waivered, persevered and rallied the world to support his cause.

thanks to him we speak english, deal with a free europe, autonomous states in africa and the brittish isles. most politicians would have bartered a better deal with Hitler to save their arsses.
