Is there a bus or shuttle service from the airport to the train station?
Anyone know the schedule of trains to Portlaoise?
And are they using the euro these days? Thanks!

Yeah, you can get the a bus from the airport to Heuston station.

The following link is the Dublin - Portlaoise train timetable

I think the Portlaoise train is usually the train that runs to Cork, but at peak times I think the Arrow service goes there. Be warned, at peak times you'll be lucky to even get a place to stand!
And yes we are using the Euro! Not sure how much it is to Portlaoise though.
