Personally, I think our best president was Reagan. It isn't like Bush doesn't do anything, because lets all be honest - Bush hater or not, the country would be run to the ground if he actually did completely nothing. Very true, he's no Reagan, but there hasn't been a large abundance of those running for president lately. I like Bush, I do. But I do agree that a better job could be done in the presidency. He is also under a microscope, and everything he says or does that can seem ignorant is blown out of proportion. The way I see it, VERY few people are cut out for the job. Every once in a while, someone who would do an incredible job runs. When that doesn't happen, we don't vote for the best - we choose whoever is less worse.
Politics are completely about opinions, I believe. People are stubborn and stand strong behind their beliefs, Republican or Democrat. Which is why it's one of the three things I avoid discussing. (The others being Religion and Race) I live in South Louisiana, where most people are Republican and have no issues with Bush, so I don't come across the problem often. I do have friends in California that completely HATE Bush, I fear bring up anything remotely relevent to politics with them. Haha. That can from into quite the arguement. Point is, people are set in there ways. Theres no changing that.
Fact is, he's president now. It can't be changed. He can't run again. So those who want him out of office, it'll come. Just be patient, loves. :)

I believe he would catch me, people are just to fickle about who they like and why they don't like certain people (divorce rate for example) but more than that, people don't follow politics and they don't really pay attention, they are just ignorant. Most of the people in this nation feel that we should not be in Iraq. Well, maybe we shouldn't be, but we are there, you can't expect the US to just pick up and leave in the middle of the effing war! I believe that maybe the president has made some wrong turns, but does that make him a bad person, or even a bad president for that matter? It's a difficult job, and you can't predict the future, you have to do what you think is right at the time and if it isn't then you do your best to rectify the situation, and I think that W is trying, and you can't blame the guy for trying. He is human after all. And you can bet your boots that when the next election rolls around, I won't be voting for the candidate that wants to pull all troops from Iraq immediately, because that would be wrong and it would send a bad message to the rest of the world. I support our troops, our country and our President.

First of all you have to look at each issue from his side ,I dont know which issue you are talking about but as for me I had be fighting over there than over here. I dont know if he is right or not but I can see his point and I also see the point people are making against the war and other issues also.
As far as falling back into the arm with my eyes closed that would never happen, I dont even trust the politicians in my own little city for that. As far as the trust game you better talk to the money men for the politicians and to the politicians, thats who is in control.Dont fool yourself the leaders of our city, countyand country are bought and paid for.If not they wouldnt be there. I dont know excatally what you are asking the trust or the views of Bush but I hope you can look at both sides of an issue and see the only thing they can do is deside what would happen if the did the best of the worst evils, for their are not good dicisions to make everyone happy.

I honestly believe that people are ignorant when it comes to politics in general, esp. young people. I think people like to complain and don't even know what they are complaining about. Young Americans need to be more informed. George Bush is a lame duck of a president (has done nothing positive for our country). He took our country into a blind war. The war in Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11. Yes, Saddam was a horrible person and needed to be handled ,but I think George Bush should have went after the terrorist that ACTUALLY attacked our country more aggressivly FIRST! Also he has completely wiped out any chance for my generation and younger generations to come the right to Social Security. Gas prices? Need I say more? I could go on and on with problem that our president has caused.

The reason Bush supporters can't give you a straight answer, is that they have nothing to offer, that backs up their misguided beliefs. There are no hardcore facts plain and simple. If there were any, anyone would surely let them be known.
Just remember, as they point their finger at someone else, there are three pointing back at themselves.

i think its because we had a lot going when clinton was in office ,, he had rebuilt strength in the economy and a positive outlook in this country about the future,, after having republicans from 1980-1988(reagan) and bush sr from( 1988-1992) this country had been run down and went thru the gulf war, which reunited this country w/ values,, but nothing else during bush sr's term was worth a "hoot",, now for the last 6 yrs weve been secumb to the ways of a fully republican majority congress and presidency,,, clinton had majority democrats,, so i guess its more on who you support,,but most of the things bush has done have brought us back to the lifestyles of the pre clinton times,, which were not that enjoyable ,,, saying the least

this is a two sided coin. for example, could you tell me what the intelligence information is that George W. lied to us about? specificly? do you even know what intelligence information is or what it consists of or how wide of a scope it covers or how valuable of a tool it is for forcasting something like the insurgency? no no no no no... there are people who are trying to accomplish things and do good in the world and then there are people who look for the negative in everything. ...if you turn on the news its all negative. and so no wonder so many people think so negativly of Bush. but when it comes to the status of our country and the war on terror i think it makes much MUCH more sense to use the world leaders as our source of information and save the Hannity and Comb type people ONLY as an opinion to be though on. but what does George Bush know? hes only the leader of the free world.

Why are people so ignorant?
Isn't that what you really want to know?
The answer is because they have assigned thier lives to the pursuit of uselessness. It matters not whether they are politically pigeonholed or not, they have allowed themselves to be 'serviced' by government, corporations, and religion to the point that they cannot think, act, or fend for themselves anymore.
The moneyed interests have assigned a paper value to people as 'resources'. That value is the amount of money it takes to produce one plastic Happy Meal toy.
Turn off the TV.
If you want change, keep it in your pocket. Your dollar is your only vote and the machines don't count.

How about this...Bush isn't even near being the worst President of all time. I hate it when people start saying he's an idiot as if you could do better. In fact, run in the next election cause you are so much better than him.

Everyone does give you a straight answer. You asked what he did for the country and people say "Nothing." That's what he's done, nothing. Unless you call getting us into a never-ending war that has cost several thousand lives something. If you're looking for something positive, you'll never get the answer you want because he has yet to do anything positive!! If he'd resign, now that would be something good.
