the point of the game is to score a goal, and its not as easy as u think...ppl think kicking a soccer ball is easy, but its not most ppl dont know how to kick one, and end up hurting themselves...it doesnt have many rules like football and b-ball, but thats what makes it a lot more fun

You ask that about most things but I think the reason soccer has such an appeal is because it simulates our basic hunting skills.Back in caveman days we would hunt as a pack(team) looking for our prey(the ball)and finally killing it(the goal). We may have had other packs competing for our prey and we would have to outsmart them.We would have had men that would have been good at protecting us from the other packs and animals whilst hunting(defenders)and then we would have guys that would have the skills to kill our food(strikers)We would also have our tacticians as football teams have coaches etc...There are lots more similarities including fans etc...just a theory though, what do you think?

What's the point in life? What's the point in anything?
Football is about enjoying life- either taking part in or watching athletic skill, the spirit of competition, the highs and lows that come with the game.
There's no point in life if you never get to know what that feels like.

First things first, its football not soccer. It teaches people to be
part of a team, which also enables you to have a better understanding of what other people are going through. that's why its called the BEAUTIFUL GAME.
