I've got a friend who wants to be "emo" so he can get girls. And I'm trying to convince him that long hair, girls' clothes and self-harm isn't a good way to be a playa.

hello. well, to tell you, i'm emo. so he wants to get girls, eh? yes, emos r hot. but emo doesn't mean cutter. it's a lifestyle. you can be vintage or dark and depressing. im sorta both you could say. i personally think girls clothing on guys is hot...to a certain extent. same for the hair. theres nothing wrong with being emo but all he really needs to do is be himself and girls will like him.

how does this fit in with music????!!!! anyways, i think it's hott. talking about everything but, the cutting. i think cutting urself to get a girl is the most retarded thing i've ever heard!!!! and, if the hair is below the shoulders......i think they look stupid. anyways, i think ur right. and you can't just "go" "emo" you have to BE "emo". so yea, they'd call him a poser, not fun for anyone.

well i like the long hair and the girl's clothes personally, but the cutting isn't cool.
i've got one word for him: lockjaw.
my friend has it. not cool at all.

tell him that you don't have to cut to be emo. but yes, i'm 14 and i think emo guys are amazingly hot.
