I can remember as far as Calcium, I just made all the Symbols into one word and remembered it phonetically. (I did this 10 years ago at school and I can still remember).

Connect everything. Hydrogen is supported by Lithium and Beryllium. Things like that. Make every element have a relationship with a different element.

I don't know about the whole periodic chart, but you can remember the diatomic elements from the last name of Professor Brinclehof.
Br = bromine
I = iodine
N = nitrogen
Cl = chlorine
H = hydrogen
O = oxygen
F = fluorine

Hi. I did it in high school but it was because I loved it. (Learning) Try to learn the elements and their atomic numbers first.

i think the easiest way would be to learn the atomic numbers and symbols, then learn which ones go in which group... i think there are 4 different groups... like metals, non-metals and so on... i think that would be one of the easiest ways to do it...
