Hi. I read about the oldest continuously lit bulb years ago. Do not know if it's still burning, but it was at a firehouse, not the lab. Found it on the web: http://www.energyquest.ca.gov/time_machine/centennial_lightbulb.html

And again here : http://www.roadsideamerica.com/set/lightbulbs.html

I am not sure. why not try emailing the West Orange Labs? i read somewhere that there is one and it uses a carbonized bamboo filament. of course it is probably equal to a 4 watt bulb because it would have just burn out already.

wouldn't be in Edison's lab, thte lab was dismantled from it's original location in Menlo Park N.J. and trucked to Dearborn, MI.
where it was reassembled. even the dirt was moved with it.
It's now in Greenfield village/ henry ford museum.
They have some of his original lightbulbs that do still burn but I do not think that they light them but on a rare occasion.
Detroit edison used to distrubute free lightbulbs but, back in the 70's they were made to discontinue that practice as some sort of legal challenge of monopolly.
