You could go out as one of the superstar 1st in the NHL such as:

Manon Rheaume - the first woman to play in the NHL
Larry Kwong - the first NHL player of Asian ancestry
You could go out as a player that has something to do with the spooky theme of Halloween such as:
Bill Masterson - the first NHL player to die as a result of an on-ice injury
referee Jerry Laflamme - Billy Coutu received a lifetime suspension from the NHL due to punching referee Jerry Laflamme after his team (Boston) lost to Ottawa
You could go as one of the famous NHL goal scorers such as:
