There's nothing like getting worked up and waxing lyrical on a topic that you're passionate about... I enjoy listening to other's express themselves too. I sometimes feel a lot of the passion gets lost in our everyday lives.

I guess I should point out that I don't mean hurting others or slander... but a good intellectual debate about issues that are close to the heart. Objectivity is essential but that doesn't equate to apathy...

yeah i feel that way too - we're being forced to be so dull and fit in in our everyday lives. i just love a good expression of passion too! and i wish it happened more often!! it's like the movie 'crash', where we go about life not feeling anything and we literally have to crash into one another in order to feel something.

i dont always like hearing them, but i know ppl need to vent, so i allow it if its needed. im not trying to sound like i dont care, because i do. i guess i have just known too many over-the-top dramatic ppl. but i do have good friends that call me when theyre stressed and just need to get it out, and i love that they trust me enough to share it with me.
it does feel pretty damn good to let it all out, and i admit i do it quite often myself. either in a diary or to a person. it really helps me deal with things, and move on

depends on which end I am on. If I am letting off steam, fine. But if I am on the other end, while someone else is letting of steam, I'm not so sure.

I see nothing to be gain by belly aching to others. All it does is to make people think less of you, and your maturity.

yeah, until you offend someone and they report you and then your yahoo account is deactivated, and you lose everything you've had on there for the last five or six years.
