Because I like to help people. I like to rack my brain to search for solutions to problems that aren't my own.

The more I help people, the better I understand them. To better understand people makes it easier to help them.

well i figure if i can try to help you keep from making the same mistakes i made.. your life will be easier to some aspect

that and maybe you should go read the book
Farenheight 451..

its a book about "firemen" that go around burning books... and the people that still love that knowledge that books offer. and disagree with the censorship the "law" provides... hide in seculsion in the woods, memorizing a book, and passing it down to another person verbatium ( no books.. all in memory) so that the future generations have knowledge and information

My dear, if you have life all figured out, and you have all the answers then consider yourself blessed. If you don't need to socialize with other human kind, and you never need someone to talk to, and have the person listen subjectively to your concerns then once more, you are blessed. And if you don't ever feel the need to step outside of yourself for a few moments and concern your self with the needs of others then while you are blessed you are still missing out on a very important part of life.

Sometimes because there's nothing else to do.

Others, it's because they *really* do want to help people.

Sometimes they're afraid to ask questions, so they answer some as best they can.

And sometimes, it's because they just want to feel like somebody's listening.

Take your pick, though I'm sure I left a few out.

Sometimes it's interesting to see what other people question themselves about or often they have similar concerns as me.

I think it is also a learning experience, as you learn to understand people's different issues. I think it helps us be more tolerant of different people and cultures.

I think it's a nice way to take away boredom
