I am 1/2 deaf and mostly it would have to be :Could you repeat that please....?" but rarely. my Vocation was for 20+ years in Beverly hills in High tech telecommunications and no one was the wiser until I called in Admin in the 11th year of my working there and I came clean...they were awestruck. None of the others really apply to me. I was the most sought after employee in my field.....no one had an idea...as I compensate by reading lips and listening at the same time on the phone or to what is around me. I know this is not the answer you are looking for....occasionally tho and it can be very funny...."I thought you said..." and we break out in laughter.

I'll do it later. Life is to short - if I have a choice between something enjoyable or work, I am happy to say I will chose the enjoyable. The work will be here long after we are gone, so enjoy life.
