Hey guys, I got a problem I need help with. This is the first time I've ever burnt a DVD. I have a blank DVD, it says it can hold 4.7GB(2 hours), I have a file that takes up 2.05 GB, So I should be able to burn it right? Well, when I tried it on a program called MyDVD plus, it said that the file is too big, whats the problem? Is there any other software I can use to burn this file?(free software)

What kind of file are you trying to burn.

If it's a video file and it's not a mpeg2 file it will need to be transcoded to mpeg2 which the software will do automatically but this will increase the size of the file.

you should be able to burn it, as long as it's 2.05gb file. what pogram did you get with your burner? Nero is a very good program, but not free.

Make sure you have your file settings set correctly for a dual layer disk.
