The Weak Sisters have given some reasonably intelligent answers to that question on this "forum" but I, for one, find them wholly unpersuasive.
That fact is that for the wackjob far-left wing to refer to itself as "progressive" is akin to a marketing slogan. It doesn't matter if it's true or not as it's intended to snare the ignorant and uninformed into believing a fiction. Caveat emptor!

Their agenda's are designed for doom from the start. Their Idea of progress is Government controlling civilian lives, and then raising taxes to support it.
