Every time I search on yahoo, the past searches I have made can be seen. How can I clear these?

In your IE, go to "Tools" in the row on top, towards the left. Click on that. Go to "Internet Options" in the drop down menu that appears. Click on that. Click on the "Delete Cookies" button and then on the "Delete files" button. In the box that appears, click in the empty box next to "Delete all offline content" to get it ticked and click on "OK". Now go to the lower part where you have the option "Delete History" ;click on that.

Actually, you need to just "Delete History" to achieve that, but it'd be a good idea to clear the junk clogging your memory hence the sequence.

All the best.

Cheers

If you have Internet Explorer go to "tools", then "internet options". Click on the "content" tab. Under personal information click "auto complete". Click "clear forms" box, voila!
To keep from generating a history uncheck "forms" box.
