it's wierd I notice lately whenever I start to get emotional about something but don't want to deal with it my head starts to hurt. It feels like theres a lot of tension in it. IT's not that i don't care about dealing with it, but I'm tired of crying and stuff I just want to have fun! Has anyone else experienced that?

Yup. Sometimes your brain shuts itself off by giving a headache. Does not want to process the information until you are asleep.

yes i have observed it in myself too. even when i have admitted the hurt or acknowledge the pain there re moments when keeping silent and cool just dont work out and suppressing or pulling the tears back into your head just worsens the situation. crying helps a lot and it is a necessity to release tension and relax the body and soul. meditation and prayer work wonders too.

yes, i got through it a lot. holding it in isnt healthy. i know it seems silly, but our emotions play a HUGE effect on our physical being. Yes you can, and need to, control your emotions (example: if youre angry you shouldnt shoot someone) but that doesnt mean you shouldnt express them (if you're angry, play a sport, talk to a friend, do whatever gets your mind off of it and helps you relax)

you need to let it out. you'll feel a lot better, and be able to move on and have fun. my advice is to REALLY let it all out. the next time you feel like crying, go to your room, or safe spot, be alone, and just bawl your bloody eyes out. get it all out. take aslong as you have to and just DO IT. you'll feel a lot better

yes and thats normal, but you already made the connection. Next time just let yourself feel it. Don't allow yourself to feel it for long though. You have to give yourself a few minutes to let it out and then let go of it!

Almost every day. But at the end of my day I wind down with a pen and paper and my chamomile tea.
