No i experienced it during the middle of my pregnancy. The uterus has expanded so much to fit your baby that its pushing up on your stomach and lungs. Unfortunatly i dont think there is much to do about it. I find reclining myself up in a more upward position helped me breathe better so i could sleep.

Every pregnancy is different but for what its worth- I have had the same problem and your doctor can tell you if there are any problems or not, My dr. said i had not problems unless it got really bad and i couldnt breath at all. I am 30 weeks now and as she gets bigger the breathing gets a little worse but i would for sure ask the doctor! Hope this helps!

I had shortness of breath at 22 weeks too. Remember nothing is too early or late because everyone is different. When I feel short of breath I sit down and take 3 deep breaths. It seems to make me relax, maybe it will for you too. Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy!

any changes in your body are common during pregnancy. And not all pregnancy's are alike... if you're small, the baby has less room to grow - could be pushing up on your rib cage. Also, the baby could just be sitting in a funny position - you still have a ways to go... bring it up with your doc, definately, but know that baby is going to move around alot over the next few months... and hoefully give you some relief soon! Good luck to both of you!!!

22 weeks does seem kind of early but if you have a small frame then theres less room for the baby. Maybe the baby is going up a bit before poking out more or dropping.

Fatigue is common. Usually you don't get out of breath until closer to the end because your diaphram is being pushed up into your lungs. If you are measureing big then it might be sooner.

Its just because the baby is starting to pack itself in there. Thats something that you will have to get used to until the baby drops ( approx. 2-4 weeks before birth). Nothing to worry about, its perfectly normal.

no its not too early depending on how you are carrying your baby. but some may say it is too early...if this concerns you further...see your doctor as it may be something a little more serious.
