This is a tough question. the windows can be pretty affordable if you have stocked sizes. When you get into special order sizes is when the prices go up. We ordered ours from home depot and they were fairly reasonable, even for special order sizes. But the labor can be expensive if you aren't able to do it yourself or if you ar relacing 2nd story windows. Sometimes local shops will offer specials like bulk price for several windows at once or "trade in" credits. it pays to shop around and take advantage of free estimates.
