Take her to all the rich houses in the community.. they give out more candy. Dress her all up so cute in a princess costume, or snow white, or anything that will make the people say "Awwwww" then have her hold open the bag and let them fill it up with loot. Once you get home, give her one of those crappy candies that no one eats (she doesn't know any better) and scarf the rest of the candies for yourself. You might want to share them with her father lest he judge you as someone who steals candy from a baby.

:)

Definitely have a party therefore you and your daughter are in an environment that you control. So if you don't want your child exposed to something you don't necessarily agree with you'll be able to control it. Also some small children may become frightened from trick or treating. Having a party keep them in a safe and friendly environment.

Since anything you do for her at that age would be more for the adults at this stage , it's a cute idea to dress her in a costume and take pictures . She is too young to know what it's about and little ones tend to get upset at seeing others in masks or disguises .

Stay at home and let her help answer the door and pass out candy. She will have a lot more fun than going house to house in the dark.

Dress her up and stay home so she can passout candy.. she'll have much more fun when the kids come to her than being wheeled around from house to house. Next year you can think about taking her to a few houses for treats.

Tell her that it is all baloney and shear waste of time. These and other rituals make life too burdensome and difficult. Tell her to get involved in useful things including games with physical exercise. Instead of this she may help someone, feed someone

I use to just dress my daughter up and let her give out candy. She thought it was fantastic.
