there are many guys that do both ..my husband and i have 6 children combined he has 3 from a previous relationship , i have 2 and we have 1 together ..we have been together for 9 years and our relationship is just as strong and vibrant and interesting as it was from day 1.. he also is an incredible dad.we have 6 kids 4 days a week and 3 for the other 3 and he is so involved he doesn't miss a beat he doesn't miss a sports event a school event or just a family dinner...any guy can be a father it takes a real man to be a dad....most people that have this opinion are with their man for the wrong reason not because their in love but because the stay for the kids which is a horrible misjustice for the kids..you can be a good parent living in another home as long a s you chose to stay connected and to get along for the health of your kids

I am sure that most guys would love to be both a great husband and a great father, we would all like to be perfect wouldn't we?

It's just that in the real world many of us are not perfect, but the secret of happiness is to look at the good things and not focus on the bad.

Take people for what they are, not what you would like them to be.

Not me. My husband IS both. he's a great provider, spends all his off work time with us. Does housework,is an awesome daddy, great lover, most importantly,my best friend.
But forget about both, there are many guys who do nothing.

that's an obvious answer us women are always going on about how men cannot multi-task like we all can surely being a good daddy and husband is way too much to ask.
