I had a relationship that lasted less than 2 weeks - unfortunately a child resulted from this relationship. The blood test did not dismiss me as the father - I have paid child support, provided health insurance and reimbursed the mother for my share of what the insurance doesn't cover - always paid, never late. I have no relationship with the child and do not contact the mother other than paying the bills because the mother has physically attacked me and is a complete psycho. She has done everything to make my life hell. She has not given up on the idea that somehow we're a family. She pretends to be my ex-wife and is now using my name to open medical bills but doesn't pay them even when I've reimbursed her for them, which has affected my credit - she has the bills sent to her house and doesn't forward them to me. I'm going for identity theft but don't know what else to do. How do I get her to leave me alone and get on with her life? This has been going on for 15+ years. Thx!

You're so called ex-wife is going through a phase (obviously). Why are u guys seperated in the first place? You could have done so much to keep the relationship alive and it wouldnt have been that depriving to your social life and financial status.
If i was in your situation, i would confront her personally and apoligise even though she will get aggressive.
Tell her that you'll do anything to make her forigive you.

Did it or did it not prove that you are the father. The DNA tests should prove if you are. If you are, then support the child.
The identity theft has nothing to do with the child. She shouldnt be using your name just out of her choosing. Pay her totally once a month and make it known that it should be taken out of her own name, not yours. Mail the hospital denying that she is your ex-wife and tell them to stop billing your credicat card. How did she get a hold of your credit card number?

Its really about the child here am sorry that two grown folks couldn't get it together to build a relationship for the CHILD sake.
If this woman can't move forward in her own life you have to move forward in your own.. you can't allow her to control your heart by turning it off.. regardless of paying you still have a child that might need you until the depths of life.. but you have to live your life as find peace and sometimes giving her for her wrong doing will allow you to start healing as a man that made a mistake and you can't pay for it forever.. LIVE.. then she will move on

I think you have found yourself a female leech my friend. If she's anything like the one I managed to get away from, then she will bleed you and bleed you until you're a shriveled mass. You will HAVE to get an attorney, and see what you can do. I don't think coming here will get you anything of value as far as legitimate help goes. You need high-power help.
Some women deserve to be given supporet and help, and others like this pig deserve prison. I *really* wish I had a silver bullet for you, but I don't, other than to get an attorney.

You need to talk as friend, forget for awhile the trouble that she caused too much pain and heartache for you. Detailed all the cause why and what are you worrying right now to her. If you feel that that child is not yours, then treat him as your nephew or niece. That is life, sometimes it has bad but it still has good side.

SOME WOMEN ARE TOTALLY PSYCHO. MY HUSBANDS IS IN SORTA THE SAME SITUATION, SHE IS WAITING FOR HIM TO RIDE IN ON HIS WHITE HORSE AND SAVE HER AND HER DAUGHTER. 16 YEARS SHE HAS BEEN WAITING. HE RECENTLY E-MAILED HER AND TOLD HER EXACTLY HOW HE REALLY FEELS, HAVEN'T HEARD A WORD SINCE. IT HAS BEEN VERY NICE. take her to court i would ask the judge to order a restraining order baring her from using my name,i also would inform the person that i'm prepared to file criminal charges if this does not stop.i would try to explain the situation to my child so i wouldn't come off looking like the bad guy .
