I think in the moral sense they should step down immediately. For, what excuse can you possibly give for not fully investigating an allegation of child molestation. Not saying every allegation is true, but their is a duty to report it and find out the entire truth. Legally, I am quite sure it is somehow illegal to have knowledge of a crime and do nothing, nothing, for up to a year. Yes, I think the Speaker of the House and everyone else should step down, but you can rest assured that it will not happen.
