Your a caring friend. Why not help out by both of you doing things active together. You don't have to tell her why your doing it. So she wont' feel hurt. Just make your fun time more of some kind of exercise. Even if you go to the mall. Make sure you walk around the whole mall you don't have to tell her you only have to go to one specific store. take the long way around. Park farther away from the store and walk in together. Or pick up a sport you both like. just try to get her to be more active and out and about. You'll both have fun without even feeling like its a work out. Put on some music when your over at each others house. Tell her you want to learn a new dance step can she help you out with it.
Good luck be creative.

My daughter is a bit on the heavy side too, especially at that age. She is almost 14 now and has started to thin out and looks better. At 11 don't worry, although hopefully she is getting some advice as far as making "good" food choices goes. Also exercise is good.

if she is muscular, then don't worry,, if that is just fat , you should be Little concerned. she isn't fat, but if she isn't careful, she will end up at 140 or 150 pounds
she should eat alittle more healthy, and get some excersice. there is always a possibilty of MoMo syndrome , where you gain weight on your own.

No, while according to what Doctors say is average, they will say she is overweight, but it is clear that she is not obese. Instead of worrying about her weight you may want to question and look at her eating and nutrition habits. Do she eat properly? Do she excersise? etc... Also keep in mind her size may be genetic. Is her mother or siblings "big boned"..?

I weigh about that but I am also about 5'7". She sounds like she is kinda heavy. What is her activity level like? Exercise and a healthy diet are important. Make sure she stays healthy.

It depends on her age...
http://www.seventeen.com/health/bmi/spc/0,,665141_665143,00.html?pounds=135&inches=61&x=70&y=15
Her BMI is 25.505...
So depending on her age determines if she's healthy or not. Click that link above to see if she's in a healthy range or not. :]

No, I'm sure you have enough to do instead of worrying about your friends weight. Focus on accepting her regardless of her weight. If their is a problem her parents will address it.
