Kurt, when you get your first e-mail of sincere, genuine thanks from someone you have helped by giving a great answer, you will quickly see this is more than just pretend. Best to you, always. - Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old, and Yahoo! Answers is such a great vehicle for me to reach out, and really help someone other than myself...)

I suppose by most standards, especially those of younger people, I would be considered as someone who, like they say these days, doesn't have a life. But, you know what? I'm O.K. with that because I like what I have and am truly grateful for what I have. Plus, since I came across this Yahoo Answer thing just about a month ago, my life has definitely gotten a lot spicier. I'm not as bored in my spare time and look forward to doing this after work everyday.
I love this answering question thing even if it's only for points. Hang in there and keep plugging away. It doesn't matter how many points you've accumulated or what level you're at. If you enjoy it, keep doing it. If you don't, find another hobby or take a break from this one until you're refreshed.

Really, in the great scheme of things, your so called 'score' on any one particular web site means diddly squat. Really.
Although I must add, I do have a life away from the computer....even so, if I didn't I would still understand that ratings and scores, etc are the biggest con scams since my mother tried to convince me that the phantom hitch hiker story was false!!! Really!!!
Online ratings mean nothing!!! It's real life that counts!!

OK, I think the bottom line here is that yahoo set the game for level 2 at 250’ish. Try to not ask so many questions and answer a whole lot more. For every question you ask - minus five. For every question you answer - plus 2. Do the math!

Because cyberspace represents one's inner world. It has been neglected and now it being overemphasized. The imagination is the screen, the physical body is the computer. There is a network that connects all the inner worlds.

You are only at 180 because you don't make any attempt to answer questions. Even the ones who give "smartass" answers get two points. As to the other, walk out the door, there is life on the other side.

I do get out and live but when I come home I like to relax. I don't read books and there isn't anything on T.V. that I want to watch so I enjoy the computer. I can go anywhere and I learn alot here. Answer questions and quit asking them. You will earn more points.

Patience grasshopper. Meditate on your existence and its implications. All things come to those that wait. Although, don't hold your breath on that one, some times nothing comes.
