I feel that if I were in the same position that John Q was I could see myself doing the same thing. How about you?? I was in tears the entire movie. Love is strong!

yes i agree i would walk to the end of the earth for my son. i would probably do the same thing. the sad part is in all of this there are parents out there everyday who must make a decision as to what to do with a sick child. with the millions of dollars running around in this country no child should have to suffer with little or no health care for even a second. this is a country that does not properly educate or medically take care of our future.

As someone who has had two kidney transplants myself, I could completely understand that a person would be so desperate to help his child. Medical bills are so ridiculous, if a person doesn't have the money to pay for health care, he or she might as well sell everything they have, because they'll be left in the poorhouse eventually anyway. Unfortunate....

Yes I agree with you. I think a lot of people could relate to it. It was an excellent movie with great performances and it was really emotional.

definetly...the love you have for your kids is stronger than anything that you have ever felt before. I have 3 and I would do anything for them.
