The girl is long gone now after 15 years, but her step father who raped her is still out there having a good old time showing his Mustang in car shows, which I just found out yesterday searching his name. It makes me want to vomit in horror thinking how he's doing what I want to be doing. Even the car is the same as the one I want to be working on. What world is this where rapists are free to have fun while I, who've never harmed a soul, is too shy to talk to anyone outside the house?

I did turn him in at the time, and he was never arrested because the girl was unreliable. Maybe she was too scared to lose her family, and she didn't because they're all still together, except that I'm not around anymore.

Are you sure you know all the circumstance surrounding the alleged rape. Just maybe this man is being accused unfairly. At any rate it is really none of your business other then telling what you know as fact to the proper authority's.

Hon I applaud your caring for your friend to that extent but you have to concentrate on you and let all that go. Your friend is the one who would have to pursue action against the step father not you darlin. I know it is a hard thing to hear but there are times when there is nothing you can do. You do not want to endanger your life by doing something to the person because it is you who will end up behind bars...he is not worth it...talk to a therapist so you can get the tools to move on...it sux I know but just know you are a good guy and nothing in the world can ever take that away from you.

Sweetie, you have to let it go. Holding on to an act of violence will do more harm than good. It has been 15 years and I know that she will never forget the experience. The mental anger and hurt does get better.If there is justice in the world, he will get his.
Why can't you talk to people? You know, you probably have a lot to say if you just make an effort. Are you worried about being judged? Please realize that you have a wonderful heart and have so much to offer.

There is not much you can do, since the statute of limitations for rape had long passed.
If you do hear that he is raping someone, you can talk to the victim and convince her to make sure that the next time it happens, it is captured on video. This would provide evidence of his crimes.

I completely understand how you feel. My girlfriend was raped when she was 13 and even ended up pregnant. He was turned in but got a lousy 6 months. If I ever were to come across him there would be hell to pay.

A counselor can help you overcome your shyness and make friends, and can help you deal with your feelings of anger regarding the rape of your friend. You've been angry for so long, and you're shy...it'll be good to get out of the house and go to counseling. They'll really help you.
That guy's going to get what's coming to him in the next world if not this one. But it should be God, not you. Consider counseling, please?
