That you have the same rights, regardless of race, creed, etc., as all other citizens. That you will be judged by a jury of your peers ( other citizens ), and will be presumed innocent unless proven guilty by the government ( also other citizens ).

It is suppose to mean that justice is to be equal to all no matter what sex you are, race you are, nationality you are, or how much money you have. As you know this is not always the case. Celeberities and big company execs seem to get better treatment in our courts.
