It sounds like a bad cable. Check the monitor by bringing up the menu screen and seeing if red is missing. Best way to check is to borrow another monitor and cable and do some swapping to see where the problem is.

It could also be the video settings in the computer, most graphics cards let you adjust things like color, contrast, etc. If your using XP you should be able to find these settings by right clicking on the desktop, clicking on properties, select the settings tab and clicking on advanced.

confident, it is going to likely be on the Dell internet site. I actual have discovered stuff on comps there older than 4yrs previous. as quickly as you do a study for the comp, you are able to often get carry of the drivers there, if the video card is linked to the motherboard. If it somewhat is not then Dell ought to have a catalogue of a probability enjoying cards, and additionally you are able to flow to the producer's internet site to dnld the drivers, or purely take the cardboard out and discover out what sort it is. better than probable an AGP card no be counted if it somewhat is not outfitted into the board.

Try a new driver. If that doesn't work, your graphics card looks like it is on its last legs. Sorry mate!
Best thing, just incase if it is the monitor (very unlikely) try plugging another computer and see.

You could try getting a new driver. Also click the buttons on your screen and maybe you can adjust them back to normal.
