Ive read books about people who have perfect scores on the sat and they still didnt get into top schools like harvard and yale. so i was wondering if i have a chance of getting into one of these schools with about 650 on each part of the SAT (CR, MATH, WR)
They do look at other parts of the app, so do you think id have a chance ? I mean my gpa is high and i can write a good essay...

Well, I know a guy who got perfect scores in SAT and ACT and he did not get into Harvard. He played an instrument and was pretty well-rounded with good grades (above 4.0 for honors courses).

His sister, however, did get in! She had something like SAT 1400, plus she plays violin and does dancing, and excellent grades.

Conclusion: maybe it's easier for girls???

You don't have a chance. :D JK. You're a bit on the low side. They look for 700-800 scores. You'd have to have a kickass GPA and extracurriculars to make up for it.

regulation faculties seem specifically at 2 factors: your universal undergraduate GPA, and your LSAT score. see you later as your universal UGPA and your LSAT scores are interior the selection for Harvard and and so on., you have as lots of a shot as absolutely everyone else with comparable UGPAs and LSAT scores.

There is a good chance but not necessary.. You must be active in extracurricular activities and do really well in the interview...
