How can I remove black stains from pants/sneakers? The stains came from kicking a mushroom and won't soak out.

The mushrooms looked innocent enough, but as soon as they were kicked, a black dust went all over the lower part of the pants and the sneakers. A regular wash in the washing machine didn't do it, and neither did soaking in oxy-clean (which takes out anything, including crayons that went through the drying machine!) I wonder if something "organic" would somehow counteract this terrible stuff. I might have to toss the pants and sneakers if I can't figure out how to get rid of the stains - they are really bad. Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions.

Did you wash them in cold water? If you did the stain may be set for good. When you have a stain it is always best to wet it with cold water before washing. Have you tried Shout?

maybe you should get a bunch of cleaner like scrub free, awsome, glass cleaners. stuff like that and mix into one spray bottle. Then try to spray it onto the pants and shoes. If that dont come off I have no idea wat will... organic stuff I am not so sure about it.
