Why are immigrants - legal and otherwise - who enter this country so insecure they need to change America to fit the countries they just left?

I would definitely not say insecure,more like very cautioned cause we are now at the wrong side of racial discretion. We can't barely say black, hispanic, or middle eastern without being labled racist. I mean seriously say like one of those words in a sentence and people gasp and say "racist, racist, racist, racist!" and before ya know it you get jumped and beat into a pulp.
It bothers me that things like that can happen. Then you got guys like the mayor of New Orleans sayin stuff like "When we rebuild it, it will be a black city, it will be a chocolate city" . No one points fingers in there faces and says "You heartless racist", that guy is still a mayor.
If we are insecure then this is the reason, but I think were just trying to be careful until someone stand up for us all.
