I am on the Oregon Coast searching for Agates. I am with my mom and I feel very happy even though the day is overcast. I find lots of light colored Agates (cream, white, yellow, pink/peach) and get excited every time I pick one up because I know how hard they are to spot. The water looks dark and I KNOW it is cold but I feel warm and comfortable.

I am going to step out on a limb here, but I would suggest that something’s in your current life are not what they “should be”; at least not what you think they ought to be. However, if you stick with what your mom has taught you - they can be what you want them to be, or what you think they “should be”. Regardless of your feelings toward hearth and home (maybe nobody else can see this but you); you know it will work out in the end, just as it has for your mom.

Are you close to your mom? If you're not your dream indicates you want spend time with her. It's difficult to interpret dreams off the cuff unless you have some info about the person. Again your description indicates you either longing to spend special time with mom or enjoyed the time you have spent with her and desire more time with her..

Basically it means a loved one may be moving "far away" and you must take as much care of that person as you can because the days are numbered.pls let me know 1 month from now in comments if I was right or wrong, either way is fine.
